Single Mom of 4 lost home to fire

Hi, my name is Kate Hadland and I am trying to help my best friend, Loranne Shields, her four children and her mother who have recently been left homeless after a house fire. Loranne is a hard-working, single mom who is in school full-time and was renting a property on 102nd Ave that burnt on April 29, 2023!

Unfortunately, Loranne ‘s content insurance was overlooked in the hustle and bustle of day-to-day life so she will receive no compensation for any of her or her children’s belongings.

They have tragically lost the lives of their two kittens, and many of their belongings were damaged beyond repair.

I have moved them into my home for now so they are safe they just need some help getting back on their feet during this very difficult time!
